Hildago

"Nobody insults my horse '(a man gets punched in the face)'"
Viggo Mortensen can always make a movie good in my opinion, and this movie is better than good. Based on a true story about an American cowboys who competes in horse races... And always wins. But when our hero Frank T. Hopkins and his amazing horse Hidalgo are challenged to protect their honor as the best horse racer in the world, Frank may have met his match. This movie gets a good grasp on oppression and discrimination to both animal and man. A heart stopping story about a man and his best friend, and just how far you can push them. What ever you want to call it,  this movie is a must see. Recommended  to 13 and up for violence, occasional language, and alcohol drinking. The motto on cover explains it all, "Unbridled. Unbroken. Unbeaten."

Gremlins

"Don't get him wet, keep him out of bright light, and never feed him after midnight."
This movie is definitely a fun one. Directed by Steven Spielberg  he somehow combines both horror and comedy into one unlikely double. You'll find your self occasionally laughing and cringing over and over as gremlins take over the screen. A fun movie to watch with an more grown of kind of family. Rated PG in 1984 by film critics I disagree with this rating though and would rate it PG-13 for its excessive language an lots of humorous violence. A perfect laughable Christmas movie, though I recommend that you do not watch it on Christmas or it will ruin the holiday for you. I recommend this  movie for kids 13 and up.
